About Us

The Dales United Reformed Church is situated on the Eastern outskirts of Nottingham in a residential area built mostly in the late 1930s. The bustling city centre is two and a half miles away and is easily accessed by the local
corporation transport. The Church and Church hall are located in a pleasant
setting on the corner of Parkdale Road and Eastdale Road.

We are a very active Church offering a wide variety on activities for all ages.
These include Guides, Brownies, Boys Brigade, Art Group & Craft Group,
Junior and Senior Drama groups and many more.

The area around the Church is very much of mixed age groups and nationalities. Close by is the new Nottingham Academy School, due for completion in 2011.
The Academy is to cater for all school ages under one umbrella.

Sunday worship takes place at 10.30am and at the same time we have our
Junior Church for young people. Our services are varied to suit all tastes and is
led both in house and by visiting preachers. The first Sunday of every month is designated as a Family Service and is aimed at the youth of the Church.
Our music is provided on a regular basis by our music group "Interlude" and
by pre-recorded music system. After each service there is a time for fellowship
and a cup of tea or coffee with light refreshments

A warm welcome awaits all who visit us and we very much hope will join us.

The Church supports both Fair Trade and Make Poverty History. We also have
a regular collection for various charities including Christian Aid.
